We tailor the course according to the results of our careful pre-course questioning through discussion face-to-face, on the phone or by questionnaire. In addition, throughout the duration of the programme we monitor individual performance, progress and reaction so that we continue to customise the programme. In this way each participant receives maximum benefit. Where appropriate and on longer courses, we integrate out-of-class activities into the programme according to the client's preference. These can include general or professional projects, theatre, concerts, wine-tasting, golf or tennis, punting on the river or visits to places of historic interest. This adds interest and variety, while also giving participants the opportunity to meet other British professionals and to evaluate their own progress in real-life interactions. Where helpful or to make the English programme more challenging, we can include a session with an expert or coach from Oxford Professional Consulting. Individualised learning
